My Learning Process

That’s exactly where my learning process started. I started to observe these guys and slowly discovered their behavior: the words they used, their body language, how they set it up – boy, you should have seen me.

A Writer in the House

Every weekend night, I sat on my bar stool so I could overlook the whole club and constantly take notes on how these guys did it.
Occasionally one came up to me and asked what was in my notebook, and I always got away with my simple answer: I am taking psychology classes (which I actually did) and I am writing a paper on “human psychology in bars.”

When they got too curious I showed them a part of an article I was writing and even asked them if they were willing to conduct a survey for me.
Before I knew it I became famous in that bar.
“Hey, we got a writer in the house!”

Attraction Starts

Being “a writer” also attracted some lovely ladies of whom I still keep sweet memories.
In fact, sometimes at the end of the night, I had a throng of ladies surrounding me wanting to know all about my observations.
Really, it worked wonders.
